Oxford Mail X-Country 2006: Round 1 Ascott-under-Wychwood

Many thanks to all the OUP runners who took part in yesterday's race, and especially to John and Gary for providing lifts and to Cecily who brought tea! Individual results from the race can be found here. The course was a tough one including two (three for the men) runs up a very steep hill and two plunges through a knee-deep water jump! Luckily the weather was fine and sunny and everyone enjoyed the race (at least when it was over!). The next round of the series will take place at Culham Park on Sunday 3rd December 2006 (see here for more details).

Open Evening Success

Many thanks to the runners (both old and new) who came along on Tuesday 31st October for our open evening. We hope to see you again soon at Jordan Hill. To any potential new runners who weren't able to make the open evening, if you are interested in joining us for a runon Tuesday evenings please come along any week from 6pm.
